The Funfest ALL STARS bring the hype all day long, keeping the energy pumping from morning till late with games, music, surprises, and free prizes for tamariki and adults.

  • MC HADZ — Flava FM Drive‑By host and crowd favourite

  • MC BIG D — Funfest legacy MC and long‑time hype master

  • DJ JARM — NZ’s Hip Hop and RnB club king

  • AUNTY JONDA — Bringing the laughs, the love, and the Funfest spirit

Their mix of humour, hype, and heart creates the signature Funfest magic.

FREE LIVE ENTERTAINMENT 

In between the ALL STARS’ on‑stage fun, the Conference Centre comes alive with amazing free live entertainment. There’s something for everyone, including:

  • Kapa Haka

  • Cook Islands performance groups

  • Live bands

  • Singers and dancers

The Funfest Stage is packed with energy, prizes, and world‑class entertainment all day long.

KARAOKE SUPERSTAR

Step up, grab the mic, and become a Karaoke Superstar! This crowd‑favourite attraction invites tamariki, teens, parents, and even brave grandparents to pick a song, sing like their favourite superstar, and shine on the Funfest Stage. Whether you’re belting out a ballad, rapping your heart out, or dancing your way through a pop anthem, every performance is celebrated. There are spot prizes, surprise giveaways, and endless laughs as our ALL STARS cheer you on. It’s all about confidence, fun, and giving it a go — Funfest style.​​

As we celebrate 10 years of Funfest, our Main Arena is all about uplifting our diverse community and shining a light on the incredible talent that sits within it. Your culture, your movement, your rhythm, and your storytelling help create the magic that makes Funfest a true community celebration.

To ensure your rōpū looks and sounds fantastic on the day, we offer a fully professional stage experience, including:

  • Daily sound check from 9am–10am

  • Full-size concert stage inside an air-conditioned conference centre

  • Professional sound and lighting technician

  • Wireless microphones

  • Full concert-grade PA system

  • LED moving light system

  • Experienced professional MC

  • Private dressing room for your group

  • Side‑of‑stage waiting area

  • Water provided for your performers

  • We’ll promote your group’s performance on our social media channels ahead of Funfest.
