EVENT INFORMATION

Kia ora Funfesters,


Trillian Trust Funfest  is a smoke free event for families featuring; Free entry, Free parking, Free rides, Free prizes. 

We expect all of our guests to read, understand and apply the following event rules to ensure we all have an excellent fun time together.

All guests enter Trillian Trust Funfest understanding and accepting  entry terms and conditions of the venue.

Every guest entering the Vodafone Events Centre, 770 Great South Road Manukau must adhere to the following: 

 

NO SMOKING

There is no smoking within the venue during Trillian Trust Funfest . Please leave the park and smoke outside the main gates.

 

DO NOT BRING :

  • Tents and Gazebos. 
  • Chairs and tables.
  • Glass of any kind.
  • Weapons will be confiscated and you will be denied entry or removed from the venue.
  • Alcohol or drugs. Any person consuming alcohol or illegal drugs will be removed from the venue by Trillian Trust Funfest security.
  • BBQ Unit or gas bottle. Cooking of food is not permitted.
  • Gang patch or offensive clothing.
  • Pets / Animals.
  • Steel or metal cutlery .


YOU ARE WELCOME TO BRING :

  • Food and Drink - Please bring your own picnic.
  • Sunscreen / Sunglasses / Sunhat & Sunshade - Please protect yourself and others from the sun during the event at all times.
  • Water – Please remain hydrated during the event.
  • Plastic cutlery.


ZERO TOLERANCE TO VIOLENCE

Any threats or physical and or verbal violence towards others at Trillian Trust Funfest will not be accepted.

Any person/s involved in this type of activity will be removed from the park immediately by Trillian Trust Funfest security staff and police may be called immediately to assist. 

The safety of all of our guests is critical and we have a Zero tolerance to violence.

 

EVENT RIDES

Please comply with all requests to adhere to ride entry and safety terms and conditions as displayed and communicated directly from each ride operator.

Please use common sense when entering and enjoying each ride.

Adults are asked to please supervise children who are waiting for rides.

We do not tolerate bullying of guests waiting for rides. 

Any complaints of bullying will be dealt with by our staff and security staff.

This type of behaviour is not acceptable so please see our staff if you are bullied as you are waiting for rides.

Please note:  Any person/s acting in a manner which may endanger themselves or others on the rides will be removed from the park by Trillian Trust Funfest security staff.


NO QUEUE JUMPING 

Please do not Queue Jump. Queue jumping is the act of jumping in the queue ahead of somebody else who is waiting. 

Queue jumping is rude and can escalate into conflict and confrontation between guests. 

We want to avoid any conflict. 

Complaints of queue jumping are taken very seriously and repeat offenders will be asked to leave the park. 


EVENT RIDE SUPERVISION POLICY

Parents and caregivers are responsible for their children and must supervise children at all times. 

Our supervision policy is as follows: Children 10 years and under must be actively supervised by a caregiver 18 years or over.  

Actively supervised means watching your child at all times and being close and able to provide immediate assistance to your child.               Children 4 years and under must be within arms reach of their caregiver aged 18 years or over at all times. 

In the event of an emergency please dial 111. 


Rides are supplied by Mahons Amusements.

TRILLIAN TRUST FUNFEST STAGE

The Trillian Trust Funfest stage MC BIG D will invite guests onto the stage at various times throughout the event. 

Please use the stairs provided to enter and exit the stage area in a safe manner when you are invited to the stage. 

Prizes are awarded at the discretion of the stage MC BIG D and the stage management team.

DO NOT enter the stage area if you have not been invited by the stage MC BIG D and the stage management team. 

 

TRILLIAN TRUST FUNFEST STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS 

Please feel free to directly approach any of our staff for help or questions.

Our staff and volunteers will be wearing t-shirts featuring the funfest logo.

Funfest Management will be wearing the Blue Funfest Collar shirts. 

Our security staff will also be easily identifiable.

 

SECURITY CHECK 

Trillian Trust Funfest  reserve the right to request a search of any bag, picnic hamper or object brought to funfest by guests upon entry to the event.

Trillian Trust Funfest reserve the right to request a search of any person upon entry to the event or during the event at any time if we have reason to believe there has been a breach of the event rules.

Trillian Trust Funfest  reserves the right to deny entry or remove guests from the park at our discretion.

 

PARENTS AND CAREGIVERS  - SUPERVISION POLICY

NO SOLICITATION

Any person/s found soliciting and or promoting any product or service or offer without prior written permission from Trillian Trust Funfest management will be removed from the venue and may face legal action and costs associated with such removal from the venue and any subsequent costs relating to cleaning and removing non-approved solicitation promotional material from the venue.


FUNFEST IS ON RAIN OR SHINE

Team Funfest would like to assure you that Trillian Trust Funfest will always be open Rain or Shine !. 

Our new amazing venue means we have attractions both inside and outside now. 

Obviously if it does rain, then please ensure you prepare accordingly. 

Rides are located outside so please pack a raincoat and umbrella. 


COVID-19 EVENT PLAN

Funfest will comply with all Ministry of Health Guidelines to manage Covid-19 and in addition Funfest is committed to the Event Sector Voluntary Code of New Zealand.

Use the APP and scan the Funfest QR Code to Scan in if you wish. 

You can also sign in if you wish. 


MAINTAIN GOOD HYGIENE

Keep up good hand washing practices with sanitiser or soap and water for at least 20 seconds, and drying thoroughly. 

Cough and Sneeze into your elbow.  Vodafone Events Centre has more than ample toilet and hand washing facilities for you to maintain good hygiene. We also ask you to bring personal hand sanitiser for yourself and your Whanau. 


FACE MASKS 

You do not need to wear a face covering at ALERT LEVEL 1 however it's a good idea when you cannot maintain physical distance from people you don't know. 


FEELING UNWELL 

WE RESPECTFULLY REQUEST THAT IF YOU OR ANY OF YOUR FAMILY ARE UNWELL OR SHOW ANY OF THE COVID 19 SYMPTOMS PLEASE DO NOT COME ALONG TO FUNFEST FOR THE SAFETY OF OTHERS,  THERE WILL ALWAYS BE NEXT YEAR  PLEASE STAY SAFE.


EVENT SECTOR VOLUNTARY CODE FOR NEW ZEALAND 


The Funfest Charitable Trust is committed to the Event Sector Voluntary Code for New Zealand. 


This means Funfest will : 


  • Take responsibility to regularly and consistently stay up to date with Ministry of Health guidance. 
  • Fast and effective contact tracing is essential to stop the spread of Covid-19. Recording people's movements will help the Ministry of Health to           do this quickly and efficiently. This means Funfest will educate attendees pre event and through the duration of the event on record keeping             expectations and mechanisims at our event to support this. 
  • FUNFEST EVENT QR CODE will be displayed at the entrance to our event and in prominent places.  
  • Ensure operators, staff and guests are aware of and comply with Ministry of Health guidance. 
  • Promote good hygiene behaviours such as providing hand washing facilities and make hand sanitiser available. 
  • Ask all operators, staff and guests who are unwell to stay home.
